St Andrew’s Day celebrates the patron saint of Scotland on the 30th of November each year. The day is the first of Scotland’s Winter Festivals, and sees people gather to celebrate Scottish culture including drinking, eating, dancing and parties.

St Andrew’s Day is a bank holiday in Scotland only. If the 30th falls over the weekend, a substitute bank holiday is given on the following Monday.
